Requesting account deletion

Open Settings and use the account deletion controls. The application shows the grace period and any pending deletion date. You can cancel a pending request before it is executed.

Before confirming a deletion request, COMET asks Stripe to stop future membership renewals at the end of the current period. If Stripe cannot confirm this, the deletion request is not scheduled and the application explains how to retry. Cancelling a pending account-deletion request does not automatically restart membership renewal. You can review your membership and cancellation status in Membership & billing.

You can also request a personal data export from Settings. If you connected a card, the operator must separately remove the linked Stripe customer record according to its retention policy. Removing a card through Stripe's customer portal is different from deleting your COMET account.
